Description

The Customs House originally worked to collect customs duties on goods brought in to Brisbane port, dating back to 1889. Today, The University of Queensland runs the historic building and is best known for its glamorous ballroom and event spaces. The architectural gem is also open to the public, with tourists able to walk around the house, view the Australian Art exhibition in Stuartholme-Behan and appreciate the artifact collection.
