Description

For around 800 years, the Cloth Hall has stood in the same place in Krakows Main Square. Now 354 feet (108 meters) tall, the Renaissance-style hall hosts the biggest souvenir market in the region. Following a comprehensive facelift, the Museum of 19-Century Polish Paintings reopened in 2010. The two huge satirical works by the Polish nationalist artist Jan Matejko are the highlights.
