Cultural-Historical, Religious
One of the most iconic locations in St. Petersburg is the Church of the Saviour of Spilled Blood. It was built on the spot where, in 1881, Tsar Alexander II was assassinated. Completed in 1907, traditional Russian designs influenced the architecture of the churches. The interior contains mosaic tiles of more than 7500 square feet.
