Cultural-Historical, Religious
The Church of Our Lady of the 13th century, or Fraumnster, has an impressive blue spire that soars above the skyline of Zurich. Established in 853 as a convent for the Benedictines, it was responsible for minting coins in the 11th century. Within the church are the famous 1967 stained-glass windows by the famous artist Marc Chagall. A window by another famous artist, Giacometti, is placed near the main exit.
