Description

When the New Town was first constructed, Charles Square was built by Charles IV in 1348. The square was formerly known as the Cattle Market and was named in the 18th century after its builder. It is one of the biggest city squares in the world and the largest in Prague, at 70,000 square meters. It features a Baroque fountain and seven sculptures.
