Description

Chandni Chowk is one of the busiest and oldest market places in Delhi. It received its name from the canal that used to flow down the centre, reflecting the moonlight, situated in the walled city of Old Delhi. In the city, there are many distinct religious buildings that coexist harmoniously, including the famous 1644 Jama Masjid mosque, a Hindu temple and a Christian church.
