Cultural-Historical
Chain of Craters Road, situated in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, drops 3,700 feet over 20 scorched Earth miles. The key conduit for exploring the park and enjoying its many hikes is the path. There are various trailheads beginning from the road, but hiking over the sharp lava rocks can be risky. The views clearly from driving the road are stunning in their geologic elegance.
