Beach, Nature
Canggu Beach is a black sand stretch of eight kilometers of excellent surf and challenging waves. Expats, surfers and explorers who like to sit back and watch the sunset are mostly part of the crowd. A series of villages, houses mainly occupied by expats, and lavish villas for sale are interspersed with the lush rice paddies. The rhythm of traditional Balinese village life is now seen by riding down the little back roads on a motorcycle or bicycle. The beach has made it to quite a handful of the world's best resorts, but global tourism has not yet overtaken it.
