In Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the CN Tower is a 553.3 m-high (1,815.3 ft) concrete contact and observation tower. Established in 1976, it was the tallest free-standing building in the world for 32 years, before the Burj Khalifa surpassed it in 2007. In 1995, the American Society of Civil Engineers named the CN Tower to be one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.
