Description

In 1775, on the site of the former Coudenberg Palace, Belgium's Royal Palace was built. The King and Queen also have offices there, and as head of state, the King carries out his duties. The Palace is located at the southern end of the Parc de Bruxelles, and the Palace of the Country, which houses the Belgian Parliament, is at the northern end. The Palace is open to the public throughout the summer.
