Description

The Bosingak Belfry is an ornate pavilion that houses a bell with a background going back to the 14th century in central Seoul. In 1396, the original bell was installed and used to keep time and serve as a warning during the Joseon Dynasty. The new bell is a replacement made in 1985 for public donations that were installed at the same site.
