Description

The biggest and most renowned forest in Germany is the Black Forest. From the Rhine Valley, the scenery rises across undulating undulating terrain, ideal for hiking. Firs and other evergreens predominate, but deciduous trees garnish the hills and valleys. Gingerbread villages and serene wood-fringed lakes dot the landscape.
