Bartoszyce (pronounced Barto-shitse [bartɔˈʂɨt͡sɛ] (listen), German: Bartenstein, [ˈbaʁtn̩ʃtaɪn] (listen); Lithuanian: Barštynas) is a town on the Łyna River in northeastern Poland, with 23,482 inhabitants (as of 2019). It is the capital of Bartoszyce County within the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.
