Description

For the 1929 International Exhibition, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe designed the Barcelona Pavilion. Following World War I, the building was completed in less than one year. The Pavilion continues to influence modernist artists all over the world. The famous Barcelona Chair was deliberately built to keep up with the building's minimalist architecture.
