Bahar (Persian: بهار, also Romanized as Bahār) is a city and capital of Bahar County, Hamadan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 27,271, in 6,956 families.Most of the people are farmers and potato and watermelon is cultivated mostly by them. It has mild summers and cold winter with high rate of snowfall. Ayatollah Bahari is a famous clergyman whose shrine is located in Bahar.
