Cultural-Historical, Monument
Bucharest's Arch of Triumph, first built in 1878 as a wooden memorial to mark Romania's independence, has long been one of the most memorable landmarks in the region. The new Bridge, although reconstructed again after WWI, is the work of architect Petru Antonesc, rebuilt in 1936 in granite.
