Description

The Altes Museum was completed in 1830 and was one of the Neoclassical era's most important buildings. The museum contains art and antiques representing the ancient Greek, Roman and Etruscan civilizations.You'll find an amazing collection of ancient Greek art from the 10th to the first century BCE on the main floor. The collection of over 1,300 coins refers to art from the same period on display.
