Description

The Cathedral of Almudena is Madrid's official cathedral. Consecrated in 1993 by Pope John II himself. It took over a century to finish building the cathedral. It is one of Europe's youngest cathedrals and it is devoted to the Virgin of Aludena. The Cathedral has been revamped from Neo-Gothic to Neo-Classic in style.
